Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics is a Langrangian method for solving the hydrodynamic equations of motion. For a description of the SPH code, read the abstract , or get the full paper from our ftp-site, in the file pub/hpcc/treesph.ps.Z .

You can view the result of an SPH simulation which addresses the formation of a quasar host at z=8 in a b=2 CDM Universe. This icon was created with TIPSY.

An abstract of the paper and the whole paper describing this simulation are available. The full paper is also available in our ftp-site, in the file pub/hpcc/quaslett.ps.Z .
